ZO Skin Centre
I brought four clinic locations into one browsing and booking experience, so patients could compare treatments, practitioners and results without losing their place.

The challenge
The existing site split the clinic experience across separate locations and made booking harder than it needed to be. The redesign had to create one clear path from treatment research to consultation.
Primary audiences
- Patients
- People comparing treatments, practitioners, results and clinic locations before they book.
- Dermatologists
- Practitioners whose credentials and experience need to be easy for patients to evaluate.
What shaped the work
The clinic manager pointed to three recurring problems: booking took too much effort, each location felt separate, and the proof patients looked for was scattered across the site.
Insights
- Separate location pages made comparison harder and forced patients to restart their journey.
- Treatment information, practitioners, reviews and results worked better when they supported the same decision.
- The booking path needed to stay visible and work cleanly on a phone.
Competitor analysis1 note
- The comparison focused on how clinic sites bring treatment details, practitioner credibility, results and booking into one journey.
Key decisions
What I changed and why
- One front door for every clinic
- Placed all four locations on the homepage so patients could compare them without moving between separate sites.
- Proof close to the decision
- Brought practitioners, reviews and before-and-after results into the treatment journey instead of leaving them in isolated sections.
- A shorter route to consultation
- Kept booking actions visible and made the form easier to complete on mobile.
Selected user flows2 notes
Book a Consultation
- Homepage
- Select service
- Choose doctor
- Fill booking form
Compare Treatment Options
- Homepage
- Treatment
- Practitioner and results
- Choose clinic
Wireframes2 notes
- Started with low-fidelity layouts to settle the relationship between treatments, locations and booking.
- Moved into high-fidelity prototypes after the main path was clear.
Visual direction2 notes
- Used a quiet, premium visual language with generous space and restrained medical cues.
- Stayed close to the parent brand while giving the clinic a clearer identity of its own.
